Robert (Bob) Paul Bauer

Robert (Bob) Bauer’s music has been heard in concerts, broadcasts and recordings across Canada, the United States and Europe. As an arts administrator Bauer is one of the founders of two of Canada’s leading new music organizations, Arraymusic and Upstream. He has also been a CBC radio technician and music producer. He takes inspiration from any form of music that interests him. His electroacoustic work began at the University of Toronto electronic music studio in the 1970’s, where he created several pieces using equipment designed by Hugh Lecaine. Since then Bauer works from his home studio, currently in Bedford Nova Scotia.
