Andrew Bradt

Andrew Bradt is an electroacoustic composer residing in Montréal, nearing his completion of the Electroacoustic Studies program at Concordia University. His practices include creating multi-channel fixed-media works, sound design for theatre, as well as live performance. Regardless of the medium, Andrew’s works are realized through a combination of improvisation, programming generative sound environments and meticulous editing of source materials in Ableton Live. The artist designs patches in Max/MSP to make generative music and sound design, while influencing the generative process through improvisation with GUIs. Additionally, he uses TouchDesigner to synthesis video with an emphasis on audio reactive techniques.
