Residence: Chute-à-Blondeau, Canada
Marc-André Labelle is a sound artist and musician who hails from a community located between Montréal and Ottawa. His art expresses itself through different media and styles, from performance to instrumental music and sound installations. His work and research focuses on the energetic and organic relationship that these different genres can share. Always in search of new materials, he works from experimental sound recordings and from electric instruments. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in digital music from the Faculty of Music of the Université de Montréal, where the majority of his electroacoustic and interactive works have been composed.
