Rodrigo Sigal

Rodrigo Sigal (b. Mexico City) holds a PhD in Electroacoustic Composition and has been working with computer music for more than 15 years. He is the director of the Centro Mexicano para la Música y Artes Sonoras (CMMAS) since 2006 and did a postdoctorate at the National School of Music in Mexico and has a diploma on Cultural Management. Rodrigo performs frequently in different countries and is the artistic director of the Visiones Sonoras festival, through which he aims to promote electroacoustic music in Mexico and Latin America. His work is available in more than 17 compact discs, and his CDs Manifiesto, Space Within and B Blind have received excellent reviews and radio broadcast in Mexico and abroad. Future activities include concerts and seminars in different countries and a new concerto for piano and electroacoustic sounds.
