David Evans

Residence: Port Coquitlam, Canada

Growing up, music has always been a part of my life. My father was a multi-instrumentalist and musician, and in my youth I took up piano, drumming, playing in a band and music composition utilizing sythesizers. In high school, I won the Grade 11/12 Music Composition Achievement Award for one of my pieces, Rainforest. More recently, I have been studying electroacoustic music composition at Simon Fraser University under professor Barry Truax.
