Composer Richard Zvonar and bassist Robert Black met at the North American Music Festival in 1985 and ever since have engaged in a bi-coastal exploration of electroacoustic improvisation. Black is known internationally for his solo “techno-bass” performances and for his work with the Bang on a Can All Stars.
