Colin Gagné

It was first through classical guitar that Colin Gagné (b. 1979) approached composition, at the age of 12. After studying composition with Michel Tetrault at Saint-Laurent CEGEP, where he made contact with electroacoustic music, he headed to l’Université de Montréal where he is currently studying in this area with Jean Piché. Exploring simultaneously electroacoustic, mixed and instrumental composition and popular music, he also works on multi-disciplinary projects (visual art and music).
