David Parfit

Residence: Victoria, Canada

David holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Montana (2002) and an M.Mus. in music technology from New York University (2005). He studied digital signal processing and composition with Dr. Robert Rowe, Dr. Richard Boulanger, Dr. Charles Nichols, and Dr. Kenneth Peacock. Areas of research include interactive audio and music for video games, acoustic modeling, and machine learning. As a composer and sound designer, David owns and runs Seaside Sound in Victoria, British Columbia.
