Brona Martin

Brona Martin is an electroacoustic composer and sound artist from Banagher, Co. Offaly, Ireland. Brona is in her final year of a PhD in Electroacoustic Music under the supervision of Professor David Berezan at University of Manchester’s NOVARS Research Centre. Her research interests include narrative in electroacoustic music, soundscape composition and acoustic ecology. Her works have been performed internationally at EMS, Festival Encuentros Cuenca, KCEMA, SLINGSHOT Athens, ACMC, ICMC, iFIMPaC, ISSTA, NYCEMF, NOISEFLOOR, SSSP, Balance/Unbalance, SI13, SAE and MANTIS events in Manchester, London and Liverpool 2011–13. She holds an MA in Music Technology from the University of Limerick and a Hdip in Music from the University of Cork.
