Ana Dall’Ara-Majek

Ana Dall’Ara-Majek is a composer, sound artist and researcher living in Montréal. She received in 2016 a Doctor of Music degree in composition from Université de Montréal, where she taught several courses in digital music. She’s been studying the interaction between instrumental, electroacoustic and computational thinking in composition. She also wrote papers on electroacoustic analysis with the Acousmographe published in the eOrema Journal and on the latest DVD-book by François Bayle, Son Vitesse-Lumière. Her works have been performed on many international festivals and her collaborations are numerous as a composer, laptop musician and Foley artist. Her music is currently available at Kohlenstoff Records.
