… and 8:30 in Newfoundland exploits the rhythm and sounds of the words “national broadcast” through extended vocal techniques, percussion and digital delay, and plays on the oddity that in Newfoundland time and radio broadcasts are always a half-hour “out of sync” with the rest of Canada.
