Doubletalk Diana McIntosh

Doubletalk (extended vocal techniques and tape/CD) is a playful exchange between the performer and two loudspeakers. Gradually enticing the “beings” in the loudspeakers through a made-up language, the piece gives new meaning to the word “communication”. All the sounds on tape were made by McIntosh and recorded separately on the channels of a 4-track tape recorder.
