Scattered to the Wind Ross Bencina

“Scattered to the Wind” is a study of spatial gesture as wind, and music as continuous flow. The work utilises the dynamism of the wind to drive a series of transitions. I first became interested in exploring sonic representations of the elements in 1995, at which time I composed “By River’s Edge,” recently I completed “angelfire.”

”Scattered to the Wind” was created using a Pentium II/266 running AudioMulch 0.7b2 and CoolEdit Pro LE, a few water sound files, and an EPS16+ sampler.
