Big Ben Robert (Bob) Paul Bauer

Big Ben (1983 — 15:24) — Big Ben is a tribute to the birth of my first son Reuben Andrew Bauer. It uses a minimum of baby bath time sounds, mixed with some of his favourite early aural experiences, including a music box (Twinkle, Twinkle) , childhood pianistic experiments and of course layers of clock/bell references. This work makes extensive use of digital delay, pitch bending and looping technology.
