Electro-Samba No.1 (2006 — 3:00) — After a long hiatus from working in electro-acoustics, this is a recent short self-study piece that I produced using samples of Latin American drumming. It is actually my first digital, multi-track work using Adobe Audition software. All my previous electro-acoustic music was created using analog over-dubbing techniques. Having been away from electro-acoustic music for such a long time, my goal was to try and re-live some of my previous excitement with the media, but with much more control and remarkably less work, thanks to the digital realm.
