February 18 06 #5 David Duchow

opens with Turkish Ouds, followed by a variety of Turkish Sazes and Turkish Winter Violins. Various other Turkish instruments enter, followed by a Tigris Izmir. And then, briefly noticeable, a Shetland Tamurin and if one listens really closely a Shetland Bagpipe can be heard at around the 3 minute mark — and on. Again, if one listens closely, there is a Shogun Koto through part of the piece. Middle East meets West meets Far East.
