This sound drawing was recorded using a contact microphone attached to wire fences in the following locations: Winnall Moors, Winchester, Hampshire; Hengistbury Head, Dorset; The Wakes (Gilbert White’s house), Selbourne, hampshire. No effects have been added during or after the recording. A minimal amount of post-production editing has been employed, to remove clipping and intrusive microphone noise.
