The fine line between Civility and the Truth Adam Basanta

My objective was to explore the notion of transformation between two sound images, the guttural coughing of a man and the roars of an otherworldly animal, while establishing a loose first person narrative. I chose to question the natural imagery associated with man as “good” and beast as “evil”, and represent the transition from the discomfort of man to the calm of the otherworldly beast as a birth or exorcism of sorts; one’s shedding of the cover of civility for the truth.
