This piece is a reduction of an 11 minute work I completed for a directed study at SFU. The piece brings the listener into a journey in which we are underneath the sea at the beginning, then slowly move upwards towards the surface and out into the open air, and finally back down again. All sounds in this composition, except for the waves sounds heard in the middle of the piece, were made from guitar and audio samples of whales.
