The work, “Syntesis Sounds” is constructed employing 3 types of synthesis: non-linear distortion, ring modulation and physical modeling synthesis. Using these techniques, I have constructed numerous samples which were then mixed and processed in Pro Tools with a number of plug-ins. The principle identity of the piece is derived from the ‘vibrato’. The shapes of the objects are constructed from collections of slow attack, rapid impulses, and slow and fast decays obtained by dynamic variations.
