“Black Mail” is a musical collaboration between guitarist David Lester of Mecca Normal and experimental solo bassist Wendy Atkinson. They are a bass and guitar duo using unconventional means of playing their instruments to create edgy instrumental soundscapes, combining improvisation with structured arrangements. In “Black Mail” a quiet bass melody combines with ominous sounds leaving a creepy aftertaste.
