Remnant Troy Ducharme

The latest in a line of compositions that have used recordings of my early, student compositions as material for electronic manipulation. A singular, extended, and suggestive phrase has been constructed from a few brief gestures taken from the original piece, each subjected to greater or lesser degrees of obfuscation using the digital equivalents of simple ‘tape’ techniques.
