Chant de la sourde fontaine Jean-Michel Lavarenne

Le chant de la sourde fontaine (Song of the quiet fountain) contrasts disorganised synthetic sounds against better organised concrete sounds and links them together through brutal transitions.

The piece starts with a formless sequence during which coexisting sounds create a confused rhythm. The second part lets the fountain sing. The last part is organised around a rhythm deduced from the sounds of the fountain.
