Antiques of tomorrow (2016)5:42
Antiques of Tomorrow is an electroacoustic composition made from the manipulation of potentially endangered objects. The sounds of Newspapers, coins, and audio cassettes are primarily heard, as well as the recordings of car engines turning on, and old dial-up tones. The recordings where processed through pitch shifting, overlapped looping, and granular synthesis. Antiques of Tomorrow is an artistic representation of the sounds we are leaving behind, as we continue to rapidly advance our technologies.
