Black Sea Bombers Jonathan D. Martin

Black Sea Bombers is a multi-channel, fixed-media electroacoustic composition that provides social commentary on recent events in occurring in Eastern Europe through the lens of the West. It explores how understanding of the past can influence or shape the understanding of the present through the use of abstract and abstracted sound, aural mimetic discourse, fragmentation, and surrogacy, and is based around a poem of the same name.
