Fragmentation(s) Xavier Ménard

Various pulses are sent in a system of infinite loops. The result is recorded on tape and then digitally manipulated. The articulated sound comes from these impulses and by the digital fragmentation of the sounds recorded on the cassette. The source of all sounds comes from these recordings. The concept is based on the idea of using a method of sound creation belonging to the analogue era and then applying fragmentation processes made possible by digital means. In an infinite loop, each micro-gesture has the power to change the final result.
