Dedicated to Françoise Barrière for her dedication to the cause of electro acoustic music from her position at IMEB, the Synthese Festival at Bourges, every year, was a point of pilgrimage of so many composers and musicians involved worldwide in creative work. Particularly important was her stress on composers of Eastern Europe and Latin America, who were granted financial and technical help to develop their creativity. I finally met her personally through Jean Pierre Dupuy in summer 2018 at my home.
