Threads Andreja Andric

“Threads” explores coexistence of a swarm of randomly generated sound lines in continually changing surroundings. The sound develops as a sort of polyphony with variable number of voices. Each voice is a waveform whose amplitude gradient and limits are controlled programmatically. Low level control of all the sound parameters, and frequent glitches, cracks and other irregularities give the music a vintage electronica feel.
