With projects such as Journal SEAMUS and their annual National Conference, SEAMUS (Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States, founded in 1984) is the key force driving the electroacoustic scene in the US. A number of curated concerts in the 16th ÉuCuE series in 1997–98 celebrated the work of electroacoustic composers in the States. (1998)
